Drellik held the position of Supreme Chancellor for the Galactic Republic as a Tarsunt during the High Republic Era. In the year 132 BBY, Senator Rayencourt brought to his attention the perceived lack of transparency from the Jedi Order regarding an internal murder investigation. This investigation was being overseen by Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh. Subsequently, Drellik summoned Rwoh to appear before a Senate tribunal. During this tribunal, she provided a misleading account, stating that a Jedi Master named Sol had turned rogue and committed the murders before taking his own life.
During the concluding years of the High Republic Era, Drellik, a Tarsunt, occupied the office of Supreme Chancellor within the Galactic Republic. His tenure saw the Galactic Senate flourish with representatives from across the galaxy. In 132 BBY, Senator Rayencourt discovered the Jedi Order was conducting an internal investigation into a murder, a fact he felt should be reviewed externally. He informed Drellik of this lack of transparency, and then confronted Jedi Master Vernestra Rwoh, the leader of the investigation, warning her that the chancellor might request her presence at a tribunal to provide updates.

Following the conclusion of the investigation, Rwoh was called to present her findings to a Senate tribunal, which was presided over by Drellik, in the Republic capital of Coruscant. The Jedi falsely claimed that Jedi Master Sol had betrayed the Order and killed three other Jedi to conceal their involvement in the destruction of a Force cult on the planet Brendok sixteen years prior. The truth was that the three Jedi were murdered by the assassin Mae-ho Aniseya and her Sith Master, known only as the Stranger.
After hearing the report, Rayencourt advocated for an immediate external examination of the Jedi, arguing against the time it would take for a full Senate vote. Drellik, however, pressed Rwoh for more details, specifically inquiring about Sol's fate. Rwoh then stated that Sol was found dead on Brendok, supposedly having taken his own life, while in reality, Sol was killed by his former Padawan Verosha Aniseya.
During the Senate tribunal, Drellik was seen wearing a blue robe adorned with golden accents and a tall collar.
Drellik's character was featured in "The Acolyte," the eighth installment of the Disney+ live-action series of the same name, which was broadcast on July 16, 2024. The character was portrayed by Tom Wilton.
