The Eviscerator, an Imperial-class Star Destroyer, was under the command of Admiral Garrick Versio.
Admiral Garrick Versio commanded the ship during its participation in the Battle of Endor. It served as part of the fleet tasked with defending the DS-2 Death Star II Mobile Battle Station from the approaching Rebel attack. Despite the Galactic Empire's loss at Endor, marked by the destruction of the battle station and the death of the Emperor, Versio and the Eviscerator successfully escaped and retreated to the Jinata system. While orbiting Vardos, the admiral received a posthumous message from the Emperor concerning Operation: Cinder, which was an integral part of the Imperial Contingency plan.
Later, the ship participated in the Battle of Jakku, where it launched TIE fighter forces led by Gideon Hask against the Corvus. During the battle's final phases, it sustained severe damage while engaging the New Republic Defense Fleet, leading to a loss of structural integrity. As the ship burned in Jakku's atmosphere, it suffered critical reactor damage, causing it to become unstable. Before the Eviscerator's destruction, Versio's daughter, Iden, boarded the rapidly disintegrating vessel. She fought her way to the bridge, attempting to persuade her father to leave with her. He refused, and Iden departed, quickly making her way to an escape pod before the doomed ship crashed onto Jakku's deserts.
