Aliens — Enemies and Allies: Galaxy Guide 12 is a supplement for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, released in 1995 by West End Games. A team of writers collaborated on this book, with each responsible for detailing one or more species.
The book's introduction is presented as excerpts taken from the initial version of The University of Sanbra Guide to Intelligent Life, authored by Tem Eliss, an Iyra expert in sentient life. Professor Eliss was compelled to seek refuge from COMPNOR when Imperial operatives discovered his book's sympathetic stance toward alien cultures; the original draft was then secretly distributed via underground communication channels.
Similar to West End Games' previous sourcebook, Galaxy Guide 4: Alien Races, the species described include those seen in the original trilogy and those created specifically for the game. Following Alien Races and Aliens — Enemies and Allies, West End Games published a third book titled Alien Encounters.

Their distinct appearances, though only briefly shown in the Star Wars films, render them some of the most unforgettable figures within this expansive saga.
From the shady Mos Eisley Cantina to the most luxurious starships traversing the Galactic Core, they constitute an integral element of the Star Wars universe.
Aliens possess civilizations that span countless worlds, each defined by its unique culture and history.
