Governor of the Lothal sector

Governor of Lothal, also referred to as Governor of the Lothal sector, designated the individual in charge of the Lothal sector. This position was occupied by Ryder Azadi, Moff Stattata, and Arihnda Pryce at different times. After Azadi's incarceration due to his pro–anti–Galactic Empire sentiments on his conquered planet of Lothal, Pryce was initially made acting governor of Lothal before receiving the full governorship, where she managed the Imperial occupation of Lothal during the rebellion there. Stattata also held the role of governor during the rebellion. After the Liberation of Lothal from Imperial control, Ryder Azadi was brought back into power as the Governor of Lothal, this time under the New Republic's authority.

Description

The designation of Governor of the Lothal sector was synonymous with Governor of Lothal. This title was bestowed upon the political head of the Lothal sector, encompassing the planet of Lothal.

History

Arihnda Pryce held the governor position of the Lothal sector as the Galactic Civil War began.

Ryder Azadi, a Lothalite, previously served as Lothal's Governor; however, his allegiance lay with those opposing the Empire, leading to his eventual imprisonment. Following this event, Arihnda Pryce was designated as the acting governor of Lothal by Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin, with a promotion to the full title of Governor of Lothal planned within a few years. She was officially granted the title by 4 BBY.

Moff Stattata was the Governor when Leia Organa accused him of stealing her vessels on Lothal, which occurred during a rebel operation under the Imperial Governor's command in 3 BBY.

In 2 BBY, Governor Pryce oversaw Skystrike Academy in conjunction with Agent Alexsandr Kallus. By 1 BBY, Pryce met her end during the Liberation of Lothal, which also marked the conclusion of Imperial control over the planet.

By 9 ABY, under the administration of the New Republic, Azadi was restored to his position as the governor of Lothal.
