Great Council (Yuuzhan Vong)

The Great Council functioned as an advisory body to the Supreme Overlord of the Yuuzhan Vong, serving as their leadership council. It consisted of leaders from the Elite and the Ruling Castes. The meetings of the Great Council, held within the Hall of Confluence, were also attended by thousands of caste members.

While its theoretical role was to guide the Supreme Overlord and assist in governing the Yuuzhan Vong empire in accordance with the Gods' will, the Supreme Overlord had the power to selectively accept advice and appoint individuals to leadership roles within the castes.
