Hira, a wielder of a yellow-bladed lightsaber, achieved the rank of Jedi Master during the time of the Second Imperial Civil War.
After the New Jedi Temple's destruction on Coruscant and the Massacre at Ossus, Hira went into hiding. Seven years later, in 137 ABY, she was present at peace negotiations on Agamar between the New Jedi Order and Emperor Roan Fel, along with K'Kruhk, Rasi Tuum, and Shado Vao. Hira expressed doubt about allying with someone who almost annihilated the Jedi Order, but K'Kruhk mentioned that Marasiah Fel revealed the attack went against the Emperor's commands.
During Operation: Thunderstroke, the subsequent Sith Imperial ambush, Master Hira joined forces with other Jedi and the Imperial Knights to protect Roan Fel from the One Sith's warriors. Hira met her end at the hands of an unidentified Nautolan Sith Lord, who used Force lightning to kill her.
Hira's skill as a Jedi allowed her to rise to the rank of Jedi Master and survive the extermination of the Jedi Order for a period of seven years, before her death in combat with a Sith Lord.
Hira made appearances in issues forty-five and forty-six of the Star Wars: Legacy comic book series, specifically in the concluding parts of the Monster arc.
