In the year 228 BBY, they found themselves at the Republic outpost located on the planet Eriadu. There, they were present for a planning session led by Admiral Pevel Kronara for a joint mission between the Republic Defense Coalition and the Jedi Order, with the objective of rescuing prisoners held aboard the Nihil prison ship named Korvix Vorn.
During the High Republic Era, Iric Lams, a human, was a Jedi Padawan within the ranks of the Jedi Order. Lams was present at the Republic outpost situated on the planet Eriadu in 228 BBY. In that year, Lams was authorized to attend a meeting hosted for members of the Republic Defense Coalition and the Jedi Order. This meeting was overseen by Admiral Pevel Kronara of the Republic, and its purpose was to strategize a mission aimed at liberating prisoners from the Nihil prison ship known as Korvix Vorn.
While standing beside Jedi Master Fleur Ridleg, Lams watched as Kronara presented a hologram of the vessel and detailed its armaments, which included laser cannons and blister bombs. When Lams informed the admiral that they possessed their own bombers to counter the Nihil's weaponry, Kronara responded that the enemy's active shield generators would deflect their attacks. Soon after the meeting concluded, the Republic and Jedi executed the mission and successfully freed the prisoners held on the Korvix Vorn.
During the Nihil conflict, Lams demonstrated unwavering loyalty to both the Jedi Order and the Republic as they fought together against the marauders. They were among a select group of individuals who underwent rigorous vetting to be allowed to attend the briefing meeting concerning the Korvix Vorn mission, and they believed that overcoming the ship's defenses would be a straightforward task. Lams possessed dark eyes, a tan complexion, and brown hair, with a portion of their hair styled into a Padawan braid.
Being a Padawan, Lams was Force-sensitive, and they were undergoing training to wield the Force.
While on Eriadu, the Padawan wore brown Jedi attire, which included a lighter undertunic, tan pants, a utility belt, gray vambraces, and gray boots. Beneath their utility belt, Lams sported a blue sash that matched the color of their lightsaber.
Iric Lams made an appearance in the fourth issue of the 2023 comic series titled Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures. The writing for the issue was done by Daniel José Older, the illustrations were created by Elisa Romboli, and it was published by Dark Horse Comics as part of Phase III of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project on March 13, 2024.
