Kayo Organa

Lord Kayo Organa, a male human, was a member affiliated with the esteemed House of Organa. During the year 9 BBY, he journeyed alongside his family, consisting of his wife Celly Organa and their son Niano, to visit Breha Organa, Celly's sister, and her family, who resided on the planet of Alderaan. While there, Kayo relished the food served at the Royal Palace and engaged in conversation with Bail, Breha's spouse.

Biography

Lord Kayo Organa was a male human hailing from the House of Organa within the Elder Houses. He originated from the city of Hallyn, located on the planet Alderaan. Kayo was married to Duchess Celly Organa, who was the sister of Queen Breha Organa of Alderaan. Together, Kayo and Celly had a child named Niano, and the family made their home in Hallyn because the city of Aldera already had Organas, understanding that the throne would be inherited by one of Breha's children. While they did not hold any formal government roles, Kayo and Celly frequently visited Aldera to spend time with their family. At one point, Kayo confided in his son that his niece, Princess Leia Organa, was adopted, and therefore, in his eyes, not a "real" Organa. He further asserted that her parents had kept her existence a secret by confining her to her homeworld of Alderaan. In 9 BBY, Kayo and his family paid a visit to Celly's sister's family. Upon arriving via starship, Kayo, Celly, and Niano greeted Breha's family at a docking bay before proceeding to the Royal Palace of Alderaan.

While at the palace, Kayo engaged in discussions with Breha and her husband, Senator Bail Organa, regarding the advantages and disadvantages of the Galactic Empire as compared to the Galactic Republic. Kayo expressed satisfaction with his increased profits, while Bail voiced his concerns about slave labor and unjust taxation within the Outer Rim Territories. Kayo, however, displayed a greater interest in Bail's food than in the issue of slavery. During the gathering, Niano repeated the assertions that his father had made to Leia, who responded by suggesting that Niano was simply echoing his father's sentiments in an attempt to gain his approval, even if he did not fully comprehend them. She elaborated that Niano's actions were motivated by a desire to intimidate others, despite his own underlying fear of his father and others.

Personality and traits

Kayo Organa enjoyed the lavish lifestyle afforded him as part of the House of Organa.

Kayo Organa prioritized enjoying the financial benefits that the Empire provided over addressing the problems of the galaxy, urging his brother-in-law, who was a senator, to reserve such discussions for the Imperial Senate. In fact, he and his acquaintances disregarded the Empire's labor practices since they were benefiting from them. Kayo and Celly reveled in the luxurious lifestyle of high society, showing little interest in political matters. He possessed black hair, brown eyes, and a tan complexion.
