The fifteenth installment of the new Star Wars: Legacy comic book saga is titled Legacy 15. Dark Horse Comics published it on May 28th of 2014.
It has been one year since the liberation of the Mon Calamari Orbital Shipyards. Ania Solo, the Imperial Knight known as Jao Assam, the Mon Calamari engineer named Sauk, and the assassin droid designated AG-37 set off to track down the renegade Sith Lord Darth Wredd, who is leading an insurrection against the One Sith. Jao had a Force vision in which Darth Wredd was attacking Empress Marasiah Fel, who is the leader of the new Galactic Federation Triumvirate, and he is determined to stop his plot. Ania is abducted by her former lover Ramid while they are visiting Lasgo Port, and he then flees into hyperspace. Ania and Ramid are compelled to set aside their differences and work together to survive due to the arrival of a mysterious masked bounty hunter.
Ania manages to flee outside after Ramid is killed by the bounty hunter, but she is caught in an acid storm. AG-37 saves her at the last minute by carrying her to safety. In the meantime, Jao Assam appears to be incapacitated by the bounty hunter using a thermal detonator. Despite saving Ania, AG-37's internal circuitry is damaged by the acid rain. He begs Ania to manually shut him down because he doesn't want to lose his memories. A short while later, Ania is taken prisoner once more and subdued by the bounty hunter, who then reveals herself to be a former prison guard from the Imperial labor camp on Drash-so. The bounty hunter plans to frame Ania for the murder of the Imperial Knight Teemen Alton in retaliation for her escape. She tries to cut off Ania's left hand in order to plant her prosthetic hand to complete the frame-up.
The Imperial Knight Jao Assam ambushes the bounty hunter before she can finish her task. Jao is successful in severing the bounty hunter's prosthetic hand after a fierce battle. Ania manages to kill the bounty hunter by using her remote to call in her TIE Bomber. Ania uses the TIE Bomber to crush the bounty hunter to death. Sauk, in the meantime, learns that a force of stormtroopers has arrived. These stormtroopers take Ania into custody and send her to Coruscant to stand trial for Alton's alleged murder. Jao and Sauk are unable to stop them. After finding the damaged AG-37, they travel to Coruscant to clear her name.
Ania appears before a three-member tribunal on Coruscant made up of the Imperial Knight Antares Draco, a Sullustan Galactic Alliance Remnant official, and a female Human Jedi. Master Yalta Val, aware of Ania's innocence, offers to represent her and challenges the Triumvirate's evidence by pointing out that Alton's killer had a prosthetic arm, which Ania does not. While the Alliance and Jedi members are persuaded, Draco insists on seeing tangible evidence. Jao shows up just in time clutching the bounty hunter's severed prosthetic hand. He discloses that the bounty hunter intended to frame Ania by attaching it to her hand. The tribunal is compelled to acquit Ania in light of the evidence.
Ania is freed and reunited with her friends Sauk, AG-37, and Jao's adopted Imperial communications droid. However, the news that Imperial authorities have decided to imprison Jao Assam for desertion, a crime punishable by death among the Imperial Knights, shatters this happy news. In the meantime, Darth Wredd, the elusive prey of a despondent Jao, pays him a visit. Darth Wredd senses Jao's predicament and offers him a way out of prison—a Sith lightsaber.
