Maxo Vista

Maxo Vista, a celebrated and award-winning athlete, hailed from the world of Euceron.

At the Galactic Games held on Berrun in 33 BBY, Vista achieved galaxy-wide fame by triumphing in an impressive five events. Seven years subsequently, in 26 BBY, his home planet was selected to host the next Galactic Games. Vista, who was also affiliated with the Commerce Guild, was appointed to the Council of the Games.

During an exhibition in Stadium Nine, Vista challenged Obi-Wan Kenobi to a competition. This involved a high-speed, intense holographic obstacle course that Vista had secretly modified. He included a real Gladiator droid among the numerous holographic droid replicas. Despite Vista's efforts, the Jedi emerged victorious, thereby humiliating the former champion.

Vista also conspired with Doby Tyerell and Deland Tyerell to provide them with illicit, advanced track data for an unsanctioned Caves podrace. This information was transmitted to their pod, which was being piloted by Anakin Skywalker on their behalf. Unbeknownst to them, Vista had also sabotaged the pod's steering system, intending for it to malfunction and crash into the spectator-filled stadium near the finish line, via the nav computer. However, Skywalker managed to regain control of the podracer and ultimately won the race, securing the freedom of the Tyerell brothers' sister-slave, Djulla (who was 'owned' by Sebulba).

Later, despite the Jedi exposing Vista's treachery, which led to him being summoned for a hearing on charges of murder and disrupting the Games through a Games Council conspiracy against several Galactic Senators, he was eventually acquitted. This occurred after the Ruling Power's hearing, when Bog Divinian, Obi-Wan Kenobi's crucial witness, declined to testify against the renowned athlete. Meanwhile, other witnesses, Fligh and Didi Oddo, had conveniently left the planet. Vista and Liviani Sarno, the head of the Council, refuted all accusations.
