Liviani Sarno held the position of head of the Galactic Games Council on Euceron during the year 26 BBY.
Sarno was a towering female of the Euceron species, known for her love of extravagant clothing. During the time of the Galactic Games, she was often observed wearing a vibrant scarlet robe made of veda cloth, adorned with intricate embroidery of orange and gold septsilk thread. Her hair was styled into an elaborate crown of braids, interwoven with dazzling and noticeable jewels. The conceited Sarno was frequently seen in the company of fellow Council members Bog Divinian, Didi Oddo and Astri Oddo Divinian within Eusebus, the capital city of Euceron.
Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, were dispatched to the planet with two other Jedi teams on a peacekeeping mission during the Games. They discovered that Sarno, along with the celebrated former Games champion and Council member Maxo Vista, were manipulating the outcomes of the Galactic Games on behalf of the Commerce Guild with the intention of discrediting their rivals in the Galactic Senate. This involved placing fraudulent bets in the names of opposing Senators, with the goal of later tarnishing their reputations.
Sarno and Vista also orchestrated the illegal Podrace held at the Great Dordon Caves, located on the northern outskirts of Eusebus. Vista's role involved sabotaging the podracer piloted by Skywalker, causing its steering system to malfunction through manipulation of its nav computer. Simultaneously, Sarno positioned herself near the grandstands, prepared to manually activate a datapad "backup system," ensuring a mass-spectator catastrophe in the event that Vista's pod programming failed. However, Skywalker, guided by the Force, deactivated his pod's nav computer during the race's final moments, relying solely on the Force and the power of his engines to secure victory and avert the impending disaster.
Despite denying all accusations of their sinister involvement throughout the Games, Sarno and Vista were ultimately released during the criminal hearing by the planet's Ruling Power, due to Kenobi's inability to produce key witnesses: Aarno Dering, who had been murdered by Vista; Bog Divinian, who refused to provide testimony; and Fligh and Didi Oddo, who had fled the planet.
