Midgor, a star system situated within the Croynar sector, was characterized by its pale-green sun. During 5 ABY, the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing of the Galactic Empire launched an attack on a convoy associated with the Yomo Council, an Imperial splinter group. This assault crippled the freighter known as the Diamond Tor and destroyed its defensive ships. Subsequently, a starfighter wing from the New Republic discovered the aftermath of the battle and provided aid to the convoy after its commander, Captain Oultovar Misk, surrendered and requested help.
Located within the Croynar sector, Midgor was a star system notable for its pale-green sun. This celestial body bathed the space around it in a distinctive jade-colored light.

During the Galactic Civil War fought between the Galactic Empire and the New Republic, Midgor was identified as one of three systems in the Croynar sector with potential strategic importance, due to the presence of an old electromagnetic siphon. In 5 ABY, a convoy under the leadership of Captain Oultovar Misk, representing the Yomo Council—a faction that seceded from the forces still loyal to the Empire—was subjected to an attack by the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, an Imperial loyalist unit. In mere minutes, the fighter wing inflicted severe damage on Misk's freighter, the Diamond Tor, eliminated its escort vessels, and subsequently departed.
Later, a New Republic starfighter wing commanded by Starfighter Commander Wyl Lark arrived at Midgor. Their mission was to locate the 204th, prompted by intelligence suggesting the fighter wing's presence in the Croynar sector and a calculated prediction of their presence in the system, given Midgor's strategic value. Lark's fighters promptly detected Misk's crippled convoy and approached. Misk immediately declared his surrender and requested assistance via comm. After confirming the safety for the New Republic refitted Star Destroyer Deliverance to enter the system, Lark directed the squadrons of his wing to aid the survivors of the convoy.
Midgor made an appearance in Victory's Price, the 2021 novel concluding the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron trilogy, which was penned by Alexander Freed.
