Namir's unit, under the command of First Sergeant Hazram Namir, was a part of the 61st Mobile Infantry within the Alliance to Restore the Republic. In 3 ABY, during the attack on Haidoral Prime, they engaged stormtroopers in combat throughout the streets of Haidoral Administrative Center One. Subsequently, they infiltrated the Governor's mansion, eliminated the residing military officers, and successfully extracted the defecting governor, Everi Chalis. Soon after, they participated in the Coyerti campaign, initially providing support to Zab's squad during an assault on an Imperial encampment. Following this, they tracked down and submerged an AT ST in a nearby swamp. Afterward, they detonated a distillery by placing explosives on the bio-toxin containers. Unfortunately, they were exposed to the bio-toxins, necessitating an emergency extraction via dropship to prevent fatal exposure. During a raid on an Imperial heavy freighter, Namir's team secured the route back to their boarding pod as Namir and Chalis went to assist Sergeant Fektrin's squad. Furthermore, Namir and Chalis aided Sergeant Maximian Ajax's squad in escaping Imperial forces, although Ajax himself was unable to escape.
