Nord Kandende

Nord Kandende was a pilot and lieutenant in the Galactic Empire, specifically within the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. This male human served during the era of the Galactic Civil War. He famously interrupted a welcoming celebration intended for the crew of the Edict. Following the attack on Pandem Nai, the remaining members of the 204th stayed aboard the Aerie alongside a messenger droid. On one occasion, Kandende approached this messenger, unaware that Major Soran Keize, the wing's commanding officer, was observing him. Kandende then intentionally cut his hand, letting blood flow, and grasped the droid's hand, but the messenger displayed no reaction.

During the second iteration of Operation: Cinder, Kandende took part in a battle that occurred in the Ghonoath system. After the death of Flight Commander Garl Lykan, he was promoted to the position of flight commander for Squadron Four.

In a battle taking place within the Chadawa system, he was hand-picked to join Yrica Quell's team for a mission that would take them to the Netalych system. The purpose of this mission was to analyze the programming of the Emperor's messenger droid. As payment to the droid known as the "Surgeon" for his data recovery efforts during this mission, he committed to serving as a human servant for one year. He viewed this sacrifice as a minor one, made in the interest of the Empire.

Within a time span of four months following the Battle of Jakku, Nath Tensent recruited Kandende to join his freelancing crew.
