Omera

Omera, a female human hailing from the planet Sorgan, had become a widow at some point in her life. In the year 9 ABY, her village and its people were subjected to an attack by a band of Klatooinian raiders. After the Krill that the villagers had gathered was stolen by the raiders, Caben and Stoke sought out Din Djarin, a Mandalorian bounty hunter, to enlist his aid in defending their home. Despite initial hesitation, Djarin ultimately agreed. Djarin then collaborated with Carasynthia Dune, a former Shock trooper, to train the villagers in both hand-to-hand combat and shooting. The villagers and the mercenaries achieved victory after Djarin and Dune annihilated the Klatooinian raiders' camp and the raiders retaliated by attacking the village with their AT-ST.

Following the successful defense of the village, Djarin and Dune took up residence there. It was then that Omera spoke with Djarin, who informed her that Grogu, a child traveling with him, would be staying in the village with the other children, including Omera's daughter, Winta. However, a Kubaz bounty hunter, having tracked the Child using a Tracking fob, attempted to assassinate Grogu. This forced Dune to eliminate the hunter and prompted Djarin to leave the village, as he knew that bounty hunters would continue targeting Grogu and, by extension, the village. Omera and her daughter then said their goodbyes to Djarin and Grogu as they departed with their belongings, which caused Winta to become tearful.

Biography

Omera provided lodging for the Mandalorian.

Omera, at some point, became a mother to Winta, and then later experienced widowhood. She made her home with her tribe in a village situated on the planet Sorgan, where she dedicated herself to caring for her daughter and farming krill. The village was frequently targeted by Klatooinian raiders, which forced Omera and the other villagers to remain hidden in order to avoid capture. Caben and Stoke, who were fellow villagers, successfully persuaded the bounty hunter known as Din Djarin to assist in defending their village. Djarin also brought along Carasynthia Dune, a former rebel shock trooper. Upon their arrival in the village, Omera offered Din Djarin a place to stay. When Djarin noticed Winta, Omera reassured the girl, explaining that he was there to protect them. Later, she brought him a tray of food and inquired about why he never removed his helmet in public, which led to him sharing his past and the way of life he adhered to.

Omera helped repel the attack.

After Dune and Din Djarin investigated the Klatooinian raiders and discovered tracks indicating the presence of an AT-ST, they informed the villagers that they would need to relocate. Omera responded by pointing out that the farmers had nowhere else to go. Following the agreement to train the tribe, Din Djarin provided training to Omera and several other villagers in the use of blasters. Omera demonstrated her skill with a Relby-v10 micro grenade launcher, which caught the bounty hunter's attention. After their training, Djarin instructed Omera to prepare for an attack as he and Dune left to provoke the Klatooinian raiders. When the two returned, Omera and the tribe successfully defended against the attack.

Omera asked Djarin to stay on Sorgan.

Dune and Din Djarin established themselves in the village in the weeks following the battle. Omera offered Dune a cup of spotchka while mentioning to Djarin that Grogu seemed content living in the village. Djarin later informed her that he would be leaving Grogu behind to ensure his safety. Omera asked Din Djarin to remain and attempted to remove his helmet, but he stopped her, stating that only Grogu belonged there. Their conversation was interrupted by a gunshot, which turned out to be Dune eliminating a bounty hunter who had attempted to kill Grogu. Knowing that Grogu's life was still at risk, Djarin decided to leave the planet with him. Omera thanked him as he parted ways with Dune and the tribe.
