Paul Dini


Paul Dini, a link text television writer from the United States, contributed to the animated shows Droids, Ewoks, and The Clone Wars. Not only did he pen episodes for each of these series, but he also took on the role of associate producer for both Droids and Ewoks, and served as a story editor for Ewoks.

Dini's reputation is primarily built upon his involvement in several highly successful series from Warner Bros./DC Comics, including Tiny Toon Adventures, Batman: The Animated Series, and Superman: The Animated Series. His contributions to animation have been recognized with five link text awards. Currently residing in link text, link text, he is married to link text, a magician and voice actor.

For his work in animation, he has been honored with five link text awards. In 2000, he received the Animation Writing award from the link text (WGA), followed by a second WGA award in 2006 for dramatic television writing. Additionally, Dini has won the animation industry's link text three times, along with seven link text from the comics industry and three link text.

Biography

In 1984, link text hired Dini to contribute to a number of his animated projects. He wrote scripts for multiple episodes of the Ewoks animated series, some of which featured rare appearances by characters from the link text.

Dini's writing credits for The Clone Wars include the episodes "Cloak of Darkness," "Holocron Heist," and "Voyage of Temptation." He was invited to contribute to additional episodes, but declined due to prior commitments to another project. He observed that writing for The Clone Wars offered more creative freedom than his previous work on Droids and Ewoks.
