Phoenix Home, alternatively known as Phoenix Base, was a Pelta-class frigate that had been repurposed. Commander Jun Sato was in command of this vessel in the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin. Functioning as the headquarters for Phoenix Cell, this ship took part in multiple engagements with the rebel fleet that it commanded. Ultimately, it met its end during an attack on the fleet in 4 BBY, destroyed by Darth Vader piloting his TIE Advanced x1. After the destruction of Phoenix Home, Sato moved his command to the CR90 corvette named Liberator. For the Rebels, the loss of Phoenix Home was a significant setback, greatly reducing their capacity to wage war against the Empire.
During the Galactic Civil War, the Alliance to Restore the Republic at one point possessed a Pelta-class frigate, which they modified and designated as the Phoenix Home.
The debut of Phoenix Home occurred in the Star Wars Rebels: The Siege of Lothal one-hour television movie. Furthermore, it was featured in a Star Wars: Armada expansion, namely the Phoenix Home Expansion Pack.
