See-Seven was an RA-7 protocol droid employed by the Galactic Empire. The elder Lellis recounted a tale to the Mustafarian youngsters Giggek and Tuttel, in which See-Seven aided Imperial Inspector Vaneé when he was tasked with probing the cases of several deranged stormtroopers stationed at Fortress Vader, the stronghold of the Sith Lord Darth Vader located on the planet Mustafar. After one of the affected troopers menaced and assaulted Vaneé, See-Seven utilized a stun weapon on him, following Vaneé's request for the protocol droid to restrain the trooper. Subsequently, Vaneé ventured further into the fortress to delve into the circumstances, only to succumb to madness himself due to lava fumes permeating the structure.
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the RA-7 protocol droid known as See-Seven fulfilled its duties. As the Mustafarian Lellis narrated, See-Seven went with Inspector Vaneé after he received orders to go to Fortress Vader, the abode of the Sith Lord Darth Vader on the planet Mustafar, to investigate the reason behind a number of Imperial stormtroopers losing their sanity. Upon Vaneé and See-Seven's arrival at the fortress, they encountered one of the unhinged troopers. See-Seven alerted Vaneé to the similar condition of the other troopers, whose numbers exceeded a dozen. Vaneé dismissed them as weak and paranoid, which provoked the trooper to seize the inspector and threaten him. See-Seven then stunned the crazed trooper. Vaneé expressed his gratitude to the droid, requesting that the trooper be restrained while he looked into the matter.
Vaneé's inquiries led him to Vader himself, and the inspector, too, was driven to madness by the lava fumes within the fortress, becoming a servant of the Sith Lord. The Mustafarian elder Lellis recounted the story of Vaneé and See-Seven to the young Mustafarians Giggek and Tuttel not long after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, after the pair expressed their intention to infiltrate and destroy Fortress Vader.
