The Old Republic's triumph is inevitable in The Fall of the Sith Empire, which showcases the momentous clash between the Old Republic and the Sith Empire. Nevertheless, even victors suffer setbacks, and the Sith Empire secures a gain from this conflict that will eventually bring about the Old Republic's downfall.
Naga Sadow's surviving warships make their way back to the Sith Empire, where he, the Dark Lord of the Sith, is met by Ludo Kressh, who was thought to have died but had actually deployed a decoy ship to Khar Delba. Kressh proclaims himself the new Dark Lord of the Sith and commands his forces to engage Sadow's fleet. However, Kressh meets his end when Sadow purposefully crashes one of his vessels into Kressh's flagship.
The defeated Sith are on Kirrek, retreating to their ships. Odan-Urr, a Jedi Knight, reflects on the events that have transpired. While he is pleased with the victory over the Sith, he mourns the passing of his Master, Ooroo. Commander Llaban implores the former Kirrek rebels, who allied with the Queen to fight off the Sith, to collaborate in order to establish a period of tranquility and restoration, in exchange for Empress Teta's pardon.
A victory celebration is being held in the Senate Hall on Coruscant. Memit Nadill unplugs his lightsaber from its power source, expressing his hope that he will not have to use it in combat again. While the celebration is in full swing, repair efforts get underway on Coruscant. Memit expresses his hope that the Empress fared as well as they did.
In the meantime, Emperor Teta's fleet is closing in on the coordinates in Sith space that Gav Daragon provided. Her fleet launches an assault on Sadow's battered fleet, inflicting damage on his diminished forces. Accompanied by Jori Daragon, Empress Teta delivers an ultimatum, demanding Sadow's surrender. Sadow declines and orders the Massassi on the other ships to eliminate the Sith Lords in command, creating a substantial barrier between the Dark Lord and Teta's fleet.
The Sith ships are soon destroyed in an explosion. Naga Sadow directs his remaining battleship toward the Denarii Nova. Empress Teta dispatches numerous gunships after him, but the Sith Lord uses the Denarii Nova's flares to destroy the pursuing ships. Empress Teta, believing Sadow to be dead, orders her remaining ships to return to Koros Major.
Odan-Urr discovers a Sith holocron in one of the Empire's abandoned ships on Koros Major. Remembering the final words of his late Master Ooroo, he makes the decision to found the Great Jedi Library on Ossus. Empress Teta also recognizes Jori's contributions during the Great Hyperspace War by naming her the new owner of Aarrba's repair facility.
Naga Sadow pilots his battleship to the moon of Yavin IV in the remote Yavin system. Sadow, accompanied by his remaining followers and Massassi warriors, establishes a camp on the isolated moon. He spends the remainder of his life there, attempting to rebuild the once-powerful Sith Empire.
