Teff

Teff was a pilot from Barolia who served the Republic Defense Coalition. He piloted a Z-29 Skyhawk as part of Firebird Squadron, after his transfer from the Kolaador system. After his assignment to Firebird Squadron, Teff reconnected with Jano Brayson, an old friend who had also been transferred to the squadron. Shortly after this reunion, Firebird Squadron was deployed as part of the combined forces of the Galactic Republic and Jedi Order during the Battle of Galov, fighting against Lourna Dee, the Tempest Runner of the Nihil. Teff, along with Brayson and other pilots, boarded Dee's starship (which shared the same name) alongside Jedi Knight Nib Assek and Padawan Burryaga Agaburry. They reached the ship's flight deck, unaware that Dee had left behind a decoy: the droid H7-09 wearing her armor and mask. Brayson fired upon and seemingly killed Dee, but when Teff tried to remove the mask, a thermal detonator hidden within the armor by Dee detonated. Despite the Jedi's efforts to shield them, Teff died in the resulting explosion. Brayson, surviving the blast, was consumed by anger over Teff's death, leading him to attack captured Nihil aboard Starlight Beacon.
