Around the time of 9 ABY, the Hutt female and her brother encountered Boba Fett outside the Sanctuary, seeking to assert their claim to Jabba's criminal operations. Subsequently, they dispatched Krrsantan with the intention to kill Boba Fett, an attempt that ultimately failed. The next day, the Twins arrived at Boba Fett's Palace to offer an apology for the attempted assassination, and they presented him with a rancor. Eventually, she and her brother departed Tatooine after discovering that Jabba's territory had been promised to the Pyke Syndicate by the Mayor, Mok Shaiz.
The Hutt sister made her debut appearance in the Disney+ series The Book of Boba Fett, specifically in the episode titled "Chapter 2: The Tribes of Tatooine" which aired on January 5, 2022. The Simplified and Traditional Chinese subtitles featured on Disney+ for that episode reveal that the female Hutt is identified as the male Hutt's younger sister (妹妹, mèimei). It is important to note that this line is delivered in Huttese, irrespective of the audio language selected by the viewer.
Ming-Na Wen and Temuera Morrison disclosed in an interview with TVLine that cardboard figures were employed on the set to stand in for the Hutts, who were later brought to life through computer-generated imagery. Morrison further mentioned that his stand-in, JJ Dashnaw, also known as "Jimmy," supplied the dialogue for the Twins during the filming process.
