Unidentified Zabrak Eclipse dealer

In the Coruscant Hotel and Casino located on the planet of Cantonica, a Zabrak female officiated as a dealer for the holographic card game known as Eclipse. During the year of 34 ABY, this Zabrak oversaw a game involving four individuals, one of whom was the slicer going by the alias "DJ." The dealer was unaware that DJ had introduced a virus into the Eclipse table, manipulating the game to his advantage after an initial large bet resulted in a loss. Following several more rounds, during which the Zabrak observed an exchange between DJ and Canto Bight Police Department detectives, DJ departed the table with his winnings, but not before providing the dealer with a generous gratuity.

Biography

A Zabrak female was employed at the Coruscant Hotel and Casino, situated within the city of Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica, fulfilling the role of a dealer for the holographic card game Eclipse.

In the year of 34 ABY, the Zabrak was dealing a game that had four participants, including an Ithorian, a Twi'lek, the protocol droid O1-MG, and the slicer known as "DJ." DJ, playing with illicit money, demonstrated himself to be a reckless gambler, which frustrated O1-MG. Even though the Zabrak agreed with the droid's statistically sound advice, DJ disregarded it and continued to bet aggressively, eventually losing a significant amount of credits. Despite this, DJ tipped both the Zabrak and a waitress handsomely, leaving himself with just one chip.

After "DJ" finished with his betting, he left the dealer a handful of chips.

Eventually, Oosha Choi and Pol Ipol, two Canto Bight Police Department detectives, forced O1-MG to leave the table, and then took the droid's and the Twi'lek gambler's seats. The detectives placed minimum bets, with Choi instructing the dealer to disregard anything they said except for "hit" or "stay," the key phrases in Eclipse. However, the officers, more interested in DJ, briefly forgot to participate in the game.

Neither detective managed to win a hand, and they both ended up losing. At some point, Detective Ipol grew tired of DJ's attitude towards their private conversation and tried to pull him away, but the Zabrak's boss and the casino's owner, Jorka Edy, intervened. The police officers were compelled to leave, and DJ remained at the Zabrak's table for several more rounds, accumulating a small fortune. However, DJ's winnings were unfairly obtained: he had manipulated the table by introducing a virus into the system when he initially lost his credits.

Knowing that he would soon be discovered, DJ started to leave, but not before giving the dealer another tip. The Zabrak, unaware that her table had been compromised, thanked DJ for playing.

Personality and traits

The dealer wishes her players luck before the next hand.

The dealer, a beige-skinned Zabrak with red [eyes](/article/eye], was equitable and even attempted to advise DJ on his probabilities given his seemingly poor betting choices. However, after witnessing DJ win several more hands, the Zabrak became impressed by his apparent "skill," not knowing that he was manipulating her table with a virus. As DJ departed, the dealer confessed her excitement about the game, even though she knew that her superiors preferred she not make such acknowledgements.

When detectives Choi and Ipol joined the game, the dealer wished them luck, but she had to remind them to actually play the game when they became engrossed in their conversation with DJ.
