79's, a cantina situated on Coruscant, primarily served the clone troopers of the Grand Army of the Republic. Throughout the Clone Wars, many troopers were regulars at 79's, and after the war's conclusion, the collapse of the Republic, and the establishment of the Galactic Empire, many clones continued their patronage.
Located in the galactic capital of Coruscant, 79's functioned as a cantina. During the time of the Clone Wars, clone troopers belonging to the Grand Army of the Republic would congregate at 79's to unwind and enjoy themselves during their off-duty hours. Across Coruscant, 79's gained a reputation as a clone bar, though it also saw visits from non-clone patrons. ARC trooper Fives enlisted the services of taxi pilot Jay Igno to transport him to 79's, where he sought out his friend Kix to request his assistance after Fives uncovered the Order 66 conspiracy. When Coruscant Guard shock troopers arrived to search for him, Fives made a quick exit from the bar.
The establishment remained operational into the Imperial Era, and many clones, including Cade and Slip, continued to frequent it. The two clones convened there to discuss the events surrounding the destruction of Tipoca City. During this meeting, Cade disclosed to Slip that he was prepared to do anything to reveal the truth, given that Vice Admiral Edmon Rampart, who oversaw the destruction, publicly attributed the city's demise to a storm. However, as Cade departed the bar, he was assassinated by a sniper hired by Rampart. In the aftermath of the shooting, Slip fled the scene on a speeder bike, and several other clones emerged to assess the situation, securing the area upon discovering one of their comrades dead.

Subsequently, Senator Riyo Chuchi journeyed to 79's to engage with the clones present, prepared to advocate for them in the Senate as they debated Rampart's Imperial Defense Recruitment Bill. While some clones were initially resistant to collaborating with her, Chuchi successfully conveyed the necessity of facing the reality of their decommissioning and her commitment to ensuring their needs were addressed.
Some years later, the 79's logo was used as decoration on the wall adjacent to the driver's seat inside an All Terrain Tactical Enforcer that functioned as the residence for veteran clone troopers Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor.
Many decades afterward, the cantina's logo was painted on the nose of the Green Ace, the racing starfighter piloted by Hype Fazon, and on the chest of Fazon's flight suit.
