In 232 BBY, during the Nihil pirates attack on the Star Cruiser Steady Wing, a group of individuals including Avon made their way to a hangar where they came across a maintenance shuttle they could use to escape. Before the Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh could sit in the pilot's seat, she discovered Avon was already seated there, and the Jedi Padawan Imri Cantaros skeptically asked the girl if she knew how to fly. In response, Avon informed the group of the time she had stolen the escape pod during the trip to Mon Cala, and told them to trust her.
