Abeloth's planet

A celestial body, located within the Maw, served as the home of Abeloth, a dark side presence who exerted total dominion over the planet's flesh-eating vegetation, which fed on the local fauna. Significantly, it possessed numerous physical locations that mirrored metaphysical counterparts in the dimension called beyond shadows. Prone to seismic activity, it featured scarlet waterways and a resounding mountain that housed Abeloth's cave, which opened into a plaza with colonnades encircling the dark side- and sulfur-emanating Font of Power. The Pool of Knowledge was situated close to a jungle ravine and marsh at the mountain's base. The predatory nature of the plants, the ground vibrations, and the volcanic noises of the world ceased with Abeloth's departure.

The Ones formerly occupied the planet, until the Son and Daughter confined Abeloth there. In 43.5 ABY, Abeloth emitted a signal through the Force, seizing control of the Sith Meditation Sphere Vessel and compelling it to journey to the planet. The Lost Tribe of Sith dispatched a combat team under the leadership of Sith Olaris Rhea to retrieve Vessel and eliminate Jedi Supreme Master Luke Skywalker. The combat team tracked Vessel to Abeloth's planet and deployed a landing party to the planet to locate the Meditation Sphere, but the planet's lethal wildlife resulted in the deaths of many of the Sith. Eventually, the Sith encountered Abeloth, who consented to shield them from the planet's perils; however, she also covertly prevented Vessel from returning to the Tribe and allowed many of the Sith to perish. Ultimately, upon discovering that Skywalker and his son, Jedi Warrior Ben Skywalker, were at Sinkhole Station, an orbital facility in the Maw, Abeloth permitted Vessel to return to the Tribe to transport the few remaining Sith to the Station to assault the Jedi. Subsequently, in 44 ABY, a combined Jedi and Sith armada under the command of Luke Skywalker and Sith Overlord Sarasu Taalon journeyed to the planet and fought Abeloth, ultimately defeating her.
