This battle occurred during the Clone Wars in 19 BBY, which was the concluding year of the conflict. During the engagement, the clone commando squad known as Clone Force 99, commanded by Clone Sergeant Hunter, along with the 501st Legion under the command of Clone Captain CT-7567, infiltrated the outpost, which was manned by multiple B1-series battle droids. Following the Republic's departure from the outpost to infiltrate the Confederacy's Cyber Center, a platoon of battle droids reached the location, coinciding with a T-series tactical droid reporting the findings of his inquiries to Separatist Admiral Trench of the Harch species.
