The conflict at Fitsay transpired amidst the Sedri civil war. It unfolded within the city of Fitsay, situated on the planet Sedri.
As a consequence of the partnership between the rebellious bishop of war, Karak, and Imperial Commander Aban, a combined force of Imperial and Sedrian insurgents launched an assault on the city of Fitsay. Their objective was to seize the Golden Sun. Standing against them were the warrior monks, operatives from the Alliance to Restore the Republic, and several former rebels who had defected from Karak upon discovering his alliance with the Empire. As the Imperial forces engaged in combat with the Priests of the Sun and the ex-Sedrian insurgents outside Fitsay, Karak, accompanied by six of his most reliable and potent renegades—Dragob, Glish, K'hondo, Porm, Spodan, and Burborok—along with his pet razort Tooch and their captive Mors Odrion, ventured into the Sun Caves. His aim was to claim the Golden Sun for himself and overcome both the Imperials and the Priests.
Inside the cave, the group encountered Cardo, the High Priest of the Golden Sun. However, one of the renegades attacked Cardo, inflicting a severe chest wound that nearly proved fatal. Subsequently, the group proceeded further into the cave, with Karak and Odrion heading directly towards the main chamber. The remaining members dispersed throughout the cave to impede any potential pursuers. Soon after, the group of six rebels, Rekara and Cardo's son Pek, entered the cave in pursuit of Karak and stumbled upon the expansive chamber. They successfully thwarted Karak's plans by convincing the Golden Sun to divide and diminish its power, which, in turn, weakened Karak. He was subsequently apprehended and imprisoned for his treachery.
