Fervse'dra asteroid belt
The Fervse'dra asteroid belt existed within the region of Bothan Space, which itself was part of the Mid Rim Territories and the Slice. This asteroid belt, which orbited the planet Bothawui, was located at coordinates R-14 on the Standard Galactic Grid and contained several navigable sectors, including zones six, five, four, and three.
During the Clone Wars in 22 BBY, a conflict between the Galactic Republic and the Separatist Alliance, this asteroid belt became the location of an engagement. A Republic task force under the leadership of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker clashed with a Separatist fleet commanded by Kaleesh Separatist General Grievous. Grievous was defeated in the battle, and the wreckage of his fleet was left scattered throughout the asteroid belt, later to be salvaged by the Trandoshan scavenger, Gha Nachkt.
Behind the scenes
The Fervse'dra asteroid belt was first seen, albeit briefly in the opening newsreel, in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series' first season episode "Rising Malevolence," which was the second episode and was broadcast on October 3, 2008. It was later shown in full in "Downfall of a Droid," which was the sixth episode of the show's first season, and which first aired on November 7, 2008. The asteroid belt's identification within the new Star Wars canon occurred in Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon magazine, published by De Agostini, specifically in the sixty-second issue around March 6, 2016.
