Clan Ordo

Clan Ordo was a well-known group of Mandalorians. This clan controlled the world of Ordo, located within the Mandalore sector. They answered to their leader, Mandalore, who was the supreme authority over all Mandalorians.

History

Canderous Ordo stands out as the clan's most celebrated member. He participated in the Great Sith War, the Mandalorian Wars, the Jedi Civil War, and the Dark Wars.

During the Jedi Civil War, Canderous Ordo joined Revan. Later, acting on Revan's instructions and for the good of his people, he brought the Mandalorians together again, becoming Mandalore. Sometime between 3954 and 3951 BBY, Canderous Ordo went back to the former Mandalorian base on Onderon's moon, Dxun, where he started the process of reuniting and rebuilding Clan Ordo.

Jekiah Ordo and Rass Ordo

After the Treaty of Coruscant was signed, Jicoln Cadera revolted against the Sith-aligned rule of Mandalore the Vindicated. Clan Ordo was among the clans that supported Cadera. Eventually, Cadera and his clan's uprising failed, and Clan Ordo was welcomed back by Mandalore. Later, Clan Ordo assisted in training the Ewok bounty hunter Treek on Nar Shaddaa.

During the Mandalorian Civil War, clan members found themselves divided, siding with either the New Mandalorians, the True Mandalorians, or the Death Watch.

During the Galactic Civil War, Bloodletter, a spy, possessed a pair of Mandalorian pistols believed to have once belonged to the leader of Clan Ordo.

By the time of the Sith–Imperial War, Chernan Ordo had achieved the rank of Mand'alor. During the war, the Galactic Alliance hired Ordo to defend the planet Botajef from an imminent assault by the forces of the Fel Empire. The plan was for him to hold out until the Alliance's fleet arrived to drive back the Imperials. However, the Alliance fleet never showed up, and Ordo died as his forces were overwhelmed and defeated. Yaga Auchs, another Mandalorian, betrayed Ordo by sabotaging their communications. Auchs then seized the title of Mand'alor and pulled the Mandalorians out of the war.

Behind the scenes

In Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, the flag displayed at Clan Ordo's headquarters on Dxun is identical to that of the Infinite Empire. It is believed the symbol was inspired by the Star Forge. The reason for its presence there is unclear. One possibility is that Canderous adopted the symbol after the Battle of Rakata Prime as a reminder of his role in destroying the Star Forge. Additionally, it has been observed that several Clan Ordo members spoke with a New Zealand accent, similar to Temuera Morrison.
