Biography

Corin Ferro was a male human who functioned as an officer of the Imperial military, specifically within the Imperial Officer Corps. Following a failed assassination attempt targeting Darth Vader on the planet Cabarria carried out by bounty hunters, Vader instructed his personal droid to investigate the source of the assassination contract as they approached Coruscant. The droid reported that the contract originated from the highest echelons of the Imperial Executive Building, including the offices of Emperor Palpatine. The droid further indicated a 97% likelihood that the signal came from that location, with no evidence of data manipulation.

Subsequently, Vader requested a roster of individuals possessing access codes to Imperial systems exceeding Level 1A1. Ferro's name appeared on this list, accompanied by the names of Joon Strephi, Wilhuff Tarkin, Cassio Tagge, Jer Croteau, Tomas Azoras, and Zorta Bingan. Following a second assassination attempt within Coruscant's orbit that resulted in Vader and the Ninth Sister crashing their personal vessel, Vader conferred with the Emperor, meditated, and discovered the involvement of Barokki, an officer whom he had previously used the Force to choke. He then presented a solution to the Emperor.

Ferro, in conjunction with numerous other officers, was summoned to an auditorium located on Coruscant. Vader surmised that the conspiracy against him stemmed from the officers' lack of understanding regarding his position as Emperor Palpatine's second-in-command, likely fueled by jealousy. Following a concise address by Emperor Palpatine, who clarified Vader's direct subordination and authority to speak and command on his behalf, Vader "randomly" selected Ferro, Strephi, Azoras, Barokki, and Bingan, terminating them through the power of the Force. He then declared that, despite his suspicions about the conspirators, he would inevitably prevail. Among those eliminated, Barokki was one of only two officers implicated in the conspiracy. The other, identified by two missing digits, was spared due to not being selected.
