Darth Vader's green Eta-2 Actis-class interceptor
Anakin Skywalker, later known as Darth Vader, utilized this green-colored Eta-2 Actis-class light interceptor during his initial period as a Sith apprentice.
History
Following his leadership of the massacre at the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant, the newly appointed Darth Vader piloted this starfighter from the Temple to Padmé Amidala's apartment. Accompanied by R2-D2, Vader subsequently journeyed to the volcanic planet of Mustafar with the intent of eliminating the Separatist leaders. The craft remained on Mustafar for more than a decade, due to Vader's battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi leaving him too injured to pilot it away from the world.
In the year 3 ABY, Darth Vader, having escaped from the Eye of Webbish Bog with a Sith wayfinder, took respite on his former vehicle to recuperate. Shortly thereafter, Ochi of Bestoon discovered the injured Vader and voiced his astonishment at Vader's survival. After battling and defeating the Droid Crush Pirates of Bestoon and then capturing Ochi, Vader repaired the Eta-2 and then navigated to the Red Honeycomb Zone utilizing the wayfinder, with the goal of reaching the planet Exegol. Upon arrival, he came under attack from Imperial Navy forces deployed to intercept him. Nevertheless, Vader employed his Eta-2 to destroy all attacking TIE fighters and encountered a summa-verminoth subspecies. Vader entered the Red Zone by flying his Eta-2 into its depths and experienced Force visions of both past events and potential futures, before eventually breaking through and crash-landing on Exegol. Once there, he and Ochi, who was situated inside a pod that the Sith Lord had fastened to the fighter's underside, disembarked onto the planet's surface, where Vader proceeded to seize control of the mind of the summa-verminoth through the use of the Force.
