Durteel Haza

Durteel Haza, a Delphidian male, spent some of his time watching a fighting droid contest within Takodana Castle, which was located on the planet Takodana. This occurred in 34 ABY. He glanced up from the spectacle when Maz Kanata, who owned the castle, called out to the smuggler Han Solo.

Biography

Durteel Haza spent time at Takodana Castle.

In 34 ABY, Durteel Haza, a Delphidian male, was present at Takodana Castle on the planet Takodana. He stood near a table alongside fellow patrons Wollivan, Praster Ommlen, and several humans, all observing a fighting droid match. During this time, the smuggler Han Solo entered the room, accompanied by the scavenger Rey, the former stormtrooper Finn, and the Astromech droid BB-8.

When Maz Kanata, who was the castle's proprietor, noticed Solo, she hailed him from across the room. This caused a hush to fall over the patrons, as Haza and others quickly looked up from the game. Once Kanata approached Solo, everyone resumed their activities. Shortly thereafter, many patrons were drawn outside to witness the destruction of the Hosnian system caused by the First Order's Starkiller Base superweapon. Subsequently, the castle came under attack and was destroyed by First Order forces searching for BB-8. Haza was mentioned within a journal created by an artist's. This journal was later restored, expanded upon, and put on display by the Graf Archive at some point after 34 ABY.
