Fixer, also identified by the numerical designation RC-1140, was a distinguished clone commando within the ranks of the Galactic Republic. He held the position of second-in-command within Delta Squad, a special forces unit operating as part of the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars. His unwavering adherence to military protocols led him to address his fellow soldiers by their operating numbers rather than their given names during operational deployments. In the chain of command, Fixer was subordinate only to Clone Sergeant Boss. Delta Squad was involved in some of the most perilous engagements of the conflict, including the recovery of the deceased Jedi General Halsey and his Padawan Knox.
The clone commando known as RC-1140, who would later be called Fixer, was cloned on the planet of Kamino. His genetic template was derived from the DNA of the bounty hunter named Jango Fett. Fixer functioned as a commando in the Grand Army of the Republic, earning his moniker due to his proficiency as a slicer. He fought in the galactic-spanning Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, serving as second-in-command of the special forces team designated Delta Squad.

Delta Squad participated in some of the most hazardous missions of the war. On one occasion, Fixer and his squad were assigned to secure a specific area, deploying directly from a Low Altitude Assault Transport/infantry gunship to engage in battle. In another instance, Fixer and the other members of Delta Squad were sent to the planet Devaron following the massacre that occurred there. They retrieved the remains of Jedi General Halsey and Padawan Knox, subsequently returning them to Coruscant. Upon arrival at the landing platform, they were greeted by Jedi High Council members Obi-Wan Kenobi, Plo Koon, Saesee Tiin, and Adi Gallia, who observed that the scale of the massacre was comparable to the destruction caused by Asajj Ventress, who at the time was believed to be deceased. Recovered security footage of the battle revealed a hologram depicting Halsey's death at the hands of Savage Opress, an individual previously unknown to both the Jedi and the Republic at that time.
As a human clone originating from the genetic material of Jango Fett, Fixer's physical stature was 1.83 meters tall, equivalent to six ft. His place of birth was the planet Kamino. He was known for being reserved, serious, and rigidly committed to adhering to regulations, which manifested in his habit of referring to his comrades by their operating numbers during active missions.
Being a clone commando, Fixer possessed exceptional combat skills and extensive training. These capabilities encompassed expertise in slicing, proficiency in both armed and unarmed combat, strategic military thinking, infiltration techniques, reconnaissance skills, mechanical repair abilities, and training in the use of jetpacks. He was known as Fixer because of his skills as a slicer and a tinkerer.
During his deployments, Fixer was outfitted with a distinctive set of Katarn-class Commando Armor that was painted in shades of green and white, along with a specialized backpack. In combat situations, RC-1140 made use of a DC-17m Interchangeable Weapon System.
Fixer's initial appearance in the new canon occurred in the season three episode titled "Witches of the Mist" from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was broadcast on January 21, 2011. His debut in the Star Wars Legends continuity was in the 2005 video game Star Wars: Republic Commando. Fixer was identified in the episode guide for "Witches of the Mist," and his designation number, RC-1140, was confirmed in the 2021 canon reference book Star Wars: The Clone Wars: Character Encyclopedia - Join the Battle!, penned by Jason Fry.
