A Nautolan male named Knox, a Jedi Padawan, served as the apprentice to Jedi Master Halsey during the Clone Wars. He fought alongside his master in the Republic's defense of the Temple of Eedit located on the planet Devaron. Although they initially succeeded against the Separatist battle droid forces, their efforts were quickly undone by the arrival of Savage Opress. Opress killed both Knox and Halsey, ending the battle.
At least a year into the Clone Wars, Knox, along with his master Halsey and several clone troopers, found themselves stationed at the Temple of Eedit on the planet Devaron, which the Galactic Republic was utilizing as a base. Because the Separatist Droid Army desired to seize control of this base, the two Jedi were there to defend it. As the battle commenced, Knox and Halsey swiftly defeated the approaching battle droids. However, the battle's momentum shifted when Savage Opress, the recently appointed apprentice of Count Dooku, was deployed to reinforce the struggling droids. Halsey instructed Knox to remain behind as he advanced to confront Savage alone, but he was no match for the Zabrak and was subsequently killed. Witnessing his master's demise, Knox charged at Opress, seeking vengeance, but the significantly stronger warrior promptly hurled him headfirst into the temple door, ending his life.
Soon after the massacre concluded, hologram recordings of the battle emerged, prompting the deployment of Delta Squad, an elite squad of Clone commandos, with the mission of recovering the bodies of the two fallen Jedi. They successfully completed their mission and subsequently returned to Coruscant to deliver the bodies. Obi-Wan Kenobi, Adi Gallia, Plo Koon, and Saesee Tiin greeted them and determined that the massacre indicated a significant new threat to the Republic.
As the Clone Wars neared their conclusion, Grand Master Yoda journeyed to the Wellspring of Life to uncover the secrets of immortality. Upon his arrival, he was met by beings known as Force Priestesses, who subjected him to challenging trials to evaluate his worthiness. During the final trial on the Sith homeworld of Moraband, Yoda experienced a vision of a serene Jedi Temple where the Clone Wars never transpired. Many deceased Jedi were present, including Knox, which led Yoda to recognize it as a vision, causing him to awaken. The Priestesses informed Yoda that he still had more trials to overcome. Knox later appeared in a dream to Luke Skywalker during his mission to Devaron.
Knox's distinguishing features included brown eyes and purple skin adorned with green markings.
Knox was equipped with a blue lightsaber and wore traditional Jedi apparel and boots.
Knox's character model was created by re-using the geometry of Bolla Ropal, but with updated textures and finishes. Dee Bradley Baker provided the voice for Knox in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars episode titled Monster.
