Frank Welker


Frank Welker, born on March 12, 1946, is an American voice-over artist. Over the past four decades, he has lent his voice to a multitude of characters, sounds, and other vocalizations featured in American television programs and films. He is especially known for his diverse array of non-linguistic vocal contributions, specifically for extraterrestrial beings and animals incapable of human speech.

In Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Welker provided the voices for Jorak Uln, Sunry, and Handon Guld.

He voiced the character of Mr. Cool in the 1980 animated series The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang, appearing alongside Ron Howard.

By July 2011, Welker's voice work or appearances had been featured in ninety-six films, which collectively grossed over $6.2 billion. He holds the top position on The Numbers.com's "All Time Top 100 Stars at the Box Office" list, with no other actor having a filmography that has earned more in total.
