GUHL-JO387O was a planet in a far-flung sector of the galaxy's Outer Rim Territories, notable for its isolation. The landscape was predominantly composed of deserts and craters, alongside mountains, mud, and even volcanoes. The atmosphere of the planet was breathable by oxygen-dependent life forms, such as humans. Furthermore, GUHL-JO387O was inhabited by purple creatures possessing four arms and four ears.
Sometime during the Cold War, and prior to the attack on Tuanul around 34 ABY, the First Order's warship, the Finalizer, a Resurgent-class Star Destroyer, was stationed in orbit around GUHL-JO387O. Onboard the Finalizer, Kylo Ren held a discussion about a potential attack on Jakku with General Armitage Hux and two other generals of the First Order. Following this discussion, Kylo Ren instructed captain Phasma to investigate GUHL-JO387O for any signs of Resistance presence. Instead of encountering Resistance forces, Phasma, FN-2187, and a contingent of stormtroopers encountered the natives of GUHL-JO3870, who were preparing to attack. However, the First Order party departed the planet before any confrontation occurred.
GUHL-JO387O made its debut in "Pest Control," a tale featured in the Star Wars Adventures series. Landry Q. Walker penned the story, while Eric Jones provided the artwork. It was released to the public on October 18, 2017.
