Hypernode

A hypernode represented a component of a starship. In the year 34 ABY, Kazuda Xiono, a racer, received instruction from his superior, Jarek Yeager, stating that seven hypernodes were essential for the restoration of the racing starfighter named Fireball. Xiono, accompanied by Neeku Vozo, a mechanic, proceeded to the Office of Acquisitions with the intent of obtaining these necessary components. Despite the initial refusal of Flix and Orka, the shop's owners, to provide the parts without payment, they eventually consented to supply some used materials in return for a gorg to be consumed as lunch. Furthermore, hypernodes were documented on material inventories stored within datapads managed by Tamara Ryvora, a mechanic, as well as by the Office of Acquisitions.

Description

A hypernode was a type of starship part that had utility in the repair of racing starfighters.

History

Jarek Yeager informed Kazua Xiono which parts he would need to fix the Fireball, which included seven hypernodes.

Within Jarek Yeager's Repair Station, situated on the supertanker fuel depot known as Colossus in 34 ABY, Jarek Yeager, a mechanic, conveyed to his employee, Kazuda Xiono, who was a racer, that seven hypernodes were a necessity for the restoration of the starfighter Fireball, designated for racing purposes, to ensure its operational flight readiness. As Yeager continued to enumerate the required parts from his datapad, the enthusiasm of Xiono regarding the endeavor diminished. Torra Doza, a racer who happened to be visiting the repair station, voiced her astonishment at the extensive list of materials needed for the Fireball's repair.

Subsequently, Xiono, together with Neeku Vozo, a mechanic, made their way to the Office of Acquisitions situated on the Colossus, aiming to procure the essential components, which included the seven hypernodes. Flix and Orka, the owners of the shop, began the process of gathering these items from the store's inventory. However, their activity ceased abruptly when Xiono mentioned his inability to pay for the parts. Eventually, as a gesture of goodwill, the pair provided Xiono and Vozo with a collection of used parts in exchange for the delivery of a gorg to serve as their lunch. Following this exchange, the pair opted to keep the gorg as a domestic animal, having already consumed their meal. Xiono and Vozo then proceeded to utilize the acquired parts for the repair of the Fireball.

Later in the same year, Tamara Ryvora, a mechanic, undertook the task of repairing the Fireball. She maintained a record of parts on her datapad, written in the Aurebesh writing system, which specified a requirement of three hypernodes. Another datapad, used for documenting the inventory of the Office of Acquisitions, also listed three hypernodes.

Behind the scenes
