Itina

Itina was a New Republic lieutenant and pilot, specifically a member of Wild Squadron, during the time of the Galactic Civil War. During 5 ABY, she piloted a V-wing with the callsign Wild Eight while participating in the hunt to locate the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. As part of this hunt, Itina fought in a skirmish in the G'Tep'Noi system, and subsequently in a battle at Chadawa, with the goal of preventing Operation: Cinder and the resulting genocide of the planet Chadawa's population. Later, Itina took part in the Battle of Jakku, where Captain Nath Tensent assumed command of the Deliverance's starfighter wing after Wyl Lark declined to take any more lives. Her mission, along with other members of Wild Squadron and Flare Squadron, was to safeguard the remaining Y-wing bombers of Hail Squadron and Chass na Chadic's A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter, as they attacked the 204th's flagship, the Yadeez. After the bombers successfully disabled the bulk freighter, Tensent, reporting damage to his own craft, was forced to withdraw for repairs. Because he considered her a veteran rebel from a time when victory was uncertain, Tensent delegated command of the remaining fighters to Itina, and issued his final directive: to assist a nearby Starhawk.
