Jyn Erso's A-180 blaster pistol, identified as an A-180, was wielded by Jyn Erso. This highly adaptable weapon could be configured as a blaster pistol, a blaster rifle, or even a sniper rifle. Previously in the possession of Rebel operative Cassian Andor, Jyn appropriated it from Andor's bag and kept it as her preferred weapon until her death during the Battle of Scarif.
Shortly before the Battle on Jedha, Jyn Erso came into possession of the A-180, following her recruitment by the Alliance to Restore the Republic to establish contact with Saw Gerrera. Erso covertly pilfered the weapon from Captain Cassian Andor's bag while they were on Yavin 4. K-2SO later confronted her about the theft. Andor demanded its return, but Erso countered that if she was placing her trust in him, he needed to extend the same trust to her. To the surprise (and disapproval) of K-2SO, Andor conceded and allowed her to retain the sidearm.

Erso continued to carry the weapon on Jedha, using it during a confrontation in Tythoni Square between Imperial forces and local Partisan rebels. She used an E-11 medium blaster rifle instead of her A-180 to fire upon a KX-series security droid, initially causing her distress as she mistook it for K-2SO. Erso retained the blaster after the firefight concluded. She carried it in a holster on her belt during her meeting with Gerrera, the subsequent escape from the planet during the Destruction of Jedha City, the mission to Eadu, and her brief return to Yavin 4.
Erso brandished the weapon to blast out a window after infiltrating the Scarif vault, initiating her ascent to retrieve the Death Star plans. Upon exiting the vault, the A-180 remained in its holster. As she advanced towards the antenna controls atop the communications tower, she drew it, and it was in her hand when a TIE/sk x1 shot out the gantry. When she regained her footing to confront Orson Krennic, the blaster was once again holstered.
The concept art for the blaster and its various expansions was partially designed by Matthew Savage.
