Kalyn Farnmir

A human female bounty hunter named Kalyn Farnmir attempted, without success, to blame her past misdeeds on Cian Shee, her former partner. Back in 22 BBY, Farnmir and Shee socialized at the Outlander Club, situated in the Uscru District on the planet Coruscant. At the bar inside the club, the duo shared an embrace before Shee's departure, during which Farnmir smiled and nodded. Subsequently, Farnmir leaned against the bar, gazing at her beverage, just as the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi employed a mind trick on Elan Sel'Sabagno, a slythmonger standing nearby. Farnmir remained near Kenobi when the Jedi ignited his lightsaber and used it to cut down Zam Wesell, a bounty hunter who was about to launch an attack on him. Farnmir's attire at the bar included black armor with a high collar and black gloves. She was characterized by her fair skin, gray eyes, and short, blonde hair.

Behind the scenes

Jack Laurian Pascoe, an actress, played the uncredited role of Kalyn Farnmir in Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones, a film belonging to the prequel trilogy and released on May 16, 2002. The filming of the club scene took place on Stage 3 at Fox Studios, Sydney on July 17, 2000. In current Star Wars canon, the name Kalyn Farnmir appeared in Star Wars: Force Collection, a mobile card game that was initially released in 2013. Despite the fact that the launch of Force Collection occurred before the Star Wars canon reset of 2014, Leland Chee, a member of the Lucasfilm Story Group, verified that the game received updates to keep it aligned with canon.

The origin of Kalyn Farnmir's name can be traced back to the Star Wars Legends continuity. It was initially featured in a photo caption as part of the "Image Attack" segment on StarWars.com on November 21, 2002. Pablo Hidalgo of Lucasfilm devised the name as a tuckerized anagram derived from Mary Franklin, who served as the fan-events coordinator at Lucasfilm.
