Biography
During the High Republic Era, Laan, a male Falleen, was a Jedi Knight affiliated with the Jedi Order. At some point, Laan became acquainted with Creighton Sun, a Jedi Master. In 382 BBY, Laan joined a group of Jedi on a journey to Eiram, a planet within the Outer Rim. Their purpose was to safeguard the wedding of Prince Phan-tu Zenn and Princess Xiri A'lbaran, the respective heirs of Eiram and E'ronoh, another planet in the Outer Rim. The night preceding the wedding, Laan and their fellow Jedi attended a formal gathering. The following day, they stood guard in a courtyard venue located in Erasmus Capital City, protecting the numerous attendees of the wedding. While awaiting the ceremony's commencement, Laan socialized with the guests. When Sun inquired about the ceremony's start time, Laan informed him that it had not yet begun.
When bounty hunters made an attempt to infiltrate the wedding location with the intention of capturing Axel Greylark, the Republic envoy, the Jedi, under Sun's leadership, stepped up to defend the wedding guests. During this skirmish, a Lasat bounty hunter struck Laan in the chest using their electrified bo-rifle. Sun witnessed Laan's violent reaction and rushed to his aid, severing the Lasat's hands with his lightsaber. However, upon realizing that Laan was dead, the Jedi Master closed his comrade's eyes and bid him farewell.
