Mike Deodato, Jr.

Mike Deodato, Jr., whose birth name is Deodato Taumaturgo Borges Filho, was born on May 23, 1963. He is a Brazilian comic book artist well-known for his work as the penciler on the comic book story "Outbid But Never Outgunned," which was published by Dark Horse Comics.

Notably, Deodato served as the artist for the first, third, and fifth installments of the Star Wars: Vader Down crossover event presented by Marvel Comics. Furthermore, he created the primary cover artwork for four issues within The Last Flight of the Harbinger narrative arc. He also produced variant covers for both the first issue and all five issues comprising Yoda's Secret War from the Star Wars comic book series. In addition, he crafted the cover art for The Force Awakens Adaptation 3, in addition to producing variant covers for various other comic book issues, including the debut issues of both Poe Dameron and Shattered Empire.

Beyond his Star Wars work, he's contributed to numerous other series published by Marvel, including extended runs on titles like The Amazing Spider-Man, Dark Avengers and New Avengers. Before their collaboration on Vader Down, Deodato and writer Jason Aaron previously teamed up for the Original Sin storyline.
