Between the years of 3 ABY and 4 ABY, IG-88, a bounty hunter, embarked on a mission. This task took him to the planet Corellia, where he was to collect a bounty from the Galactic Empire. The targets were Vukorah, the leader of the Unbroken Clan, along with her subordinates, all for collaborating with the criminal syndicate known as Crimson Dawn. However, by the time IG-88 arrived, Vukorah had already relinquished her leadership position, allowing her to escape unharmed while IG-88 eliminated all other members of the clan.
In the period spanning 3 ABY to 4 ABY, the Galactic Empire engaged the services of IG-88, the bounty hunter, to claim bounties on the leaders of criminal organizations that had allied themselves with the illicit Crimson Dawn. IG-88 journeyed to Son-tuul, where he killed the leader of the Son-tuul Pride. Following the elimination of the Son-tuul Pride members, the assassin droid received a new bounty: that of Vukorah, the Grand Leader of the Unbroken Clan.
Meanwhile, Vukorah was facing an assassination threat from within her own syndicate. Having discovered the timing of their planned attack, she invited them to the Unbroken Clan Fortress on the planet Corellia on the very day they intended to strike. Vukorah also provided IG-88 with the coordinates to the fortress.
IG-88's arrival at the fortress was marked by his starfighter, the IG-2000, and the subsequent elimination of the guards stationed at the entrance.
Inside the fortress, Vukorah handed a camtono, containing credits and jewels from the Unbroken Clan's vaults, to a member. The lead member questioned her motives for taking the fortunes. Vukorah responded that it was her fortune, and that she would explain once she had a drink. As she sat on a throne, Vukorah poured a glass of Toniray, remarking on the impossibility of acquiring some of the wine even before the Empire's destruction of Alderaan. She further added that she was glad she had stolen it from the Vermillion, Crimson Dawn's flagship, as it was the only thing she had got for wasting her time with them. The member then stated they did not understand what was happening, to which Vukorah responded that she knew they had planned to kill her that night as she slept.
With the plot revealed, the member suggested that the gathered members proceed with the assassination, declaring it would be in the name of Cadeliah, the heir to the Unbroken Clan leadership. Vukorah retorted that in the past she may have bristled at their disloyalty to her, reminding them that she had done a lot for the syndicate, and that under new leadership of one of the assassins would see it be brought back down as they lacked vision. Vukorah then finished that by the time Cadeliah came to actually inherit the clan, there would not be much of it left as they would have run it into the dust. The Grand Leader then informed the gathered members that it was no longer her concern, and announced her resignation as Grand Leader. She then told them that they could continue to call her "Vukorah the Great" as she liked the sound of it. The lead member responded they could call her "Vukorah the Dead" instead, and ordered for guards to shoot. Before the member could finish, however, they heard a noise and asked what it was.
The source of the noise was revealed to be IG-88, who announced his presence and stated that he was there to execute a bounty on behalf of the Empire on syndicates suspecting of collaborating with Crimson Dawn, informing them it covered Vukorah and her subordinates. The droid offered them a chance to surrender, however, one member attempted to open fire on IG-88, but was shot dead. IG-88 informed the individual as they were a low level accompliance of Crimson Dawn, their death was only worth one hundred credits to him, but admitted that, however, it was a start. As she sat on the throne, Vukorah declared the developments interesting as she smiled.
IG-88 then addressed Vukorah, identifying her as the leader of the Unbroken Clan, which had collaborated with Crimson Dawn, and therefore had a significant bounty placed on her by the Empire, which he was there to collect. The lead member urged the droid to kill Vukorah, as she had admitted her guilt. In response, Vukorah informed the assassin droid he had got one thing wrong, and after he requested she elaborate, she stated she would after the droid answered some questions she had. IG-88 accepted the terms and gave her twenty seconds to ask two questions. The first question Vukorah asked was to confirm that IG-series assassin droids were equipped with sensors that could pick up changes in heart rate and breathing if an individual was lying. IG-88 confirmed Vukorah was correct. She then asked the droid if she was lying as she informed him that she was not the leader of the Unbroken Clan, and that she had no current connection to Crimson Dawn. IG-88 again confirmed she was telling the truth. Vukorah then pointed at the lead assassin, and confirmed he was now the current Grand Leader of the Unbroken Clan, and that he had acted in the interests of Crimson Dawn and against those of the Empire. The Grand Leader attempted to refute Vukorah's words, but during his response his breathing became erractic and his heartbeat elevated, which indicated to IG-88 he had been lying. The droid then fired on the Grand Leader, killing him.
With the Grand Leader eliminated, several other members attempted to overwhelm IG-88, who, after devising a defensive strategy, began firing on them, eliminating them while declaring he was reducing numbers. IG-88 then proceeded to kill the other Unbroken Clan members, whilst repeating that he was reducing numbers. Vukorah then informed the droid he had missed one, the individual Vukorah had given the camtono too. When the individual attempted to plead with Vukorah, stating they did not mean to go along with the coup against her, IG-88 simply shot and killed them. IG-88 wiped out every member of the Unbroken Clan.
With all members of the Unbroken Clan deceased, IG-88 inquired whether Vukorah had provided the coordinates to the sanctuary, to which Vukorah responded she was just doing her patriotic duty as a citizen of the Empire, a fact IG-88 called out as a lie. Vukorah then asked the droid if it mattered, as he had wiped out the leadership of the Unbroken Clan as dictated by his bounty. As she left, she informed the droid he had got what he sought, and she had got what she needed. After IG-88 queried as to what she had got out of the transaction, Vukorah responded that she now had a fresh start. Afterward, Vukorah left and became a bounty hunter.
