Nooro-City was a city situated on Nooroyo, the planet known for its spice production. In 22 BBY, a collective of artists under the ownership of the human named Celena existed to the north of this city; this was known as an artist commune. During that year, Padmé Amidala, the former queen of Naboo, a planet in the Mid Rim, and Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Padawan, traveled to Nooroyo with the purpose of retrieving five artists from the Naboo Torada Collective. Upon landing, Amidala communicated with a worker at Nooroyo primary landing control, indicating their destination was a settlement located north of Nooro-City.
The young-adult novel Queen's Hope, penned by E. K. Johnston and released in 2022, included a reference to Nooro-City.
