Biography

Overseeing the Kessel spice mines

Tolsite flanked by a pair of Pyke sentinels.

Originating from the planet Oba Diah, Quay Tolsite, a male Pyke, held the rank of capo within the Pyke Syndicate. His role was that of administrator for the Pykes' endeavors on Kessel. He managed the command center of the spice mines along with droids, where he utilized a vast number of slaves to mine the valuable spice, among them the scam artist Tak and the Wookiee named Sagwa. Consequently, as the Syndicate's director, Tolsite was responsible for supervising the enslaved miners and exploiting Kessel's resources for the sake of profit.

Ten years prior to the Battle of Yavin, during the raid on Kessel orchestrated by Crimson Dawn's leader Dryden Vos, Tobias Beckett, his gang, the smuggler Lando Calrissian, and his droid L3-37 arrived at the spice mines with the intention of stealing the unprocessed coaxium stored there. While Qi'ra diverted Tolsite's attention in his office, Han Solo successfully stole the coaxium, and L3-37 incited a prison revolt. Tolsite quickly realized that they were under attack, but it was already too late to stop them. Qi'ra then engaged the Pyke in combat and killed him using Teräs Käsi.

Legacy

A visual representation of Tolsite found its way into "Index of Organizations," a survival guide distributed by Carson Teva during the New Republic Era.
