Roxuli

Roxuli, a planet situated in the Expansion Region, served as the location for a far-flung mining colony during the era of the Galactic Republic. Around 33 BBY, a commuter shuttle originating from the world of Hallitron-7 en route to Coruscant executed a supply delivery on Roxuli, which provided an opportunity for the Nautolan thief, Nakano Lash, to find refuge. Huijari, a Judicial imposter, visited Roxuli due to suspicions that Lash—along with the Hope of Glee Anselm statue she had stolen—was hiding there. Aurra Sing, a bounty hunter who had previously been imprisoned and was now manipulated by Huijari, also dispatched a message to Jango Fett, another bounty hunter, instructing him to proceed to the mining planet. Upon arrival at the Administrative Zone Twelve settlement, Fett identified Lash as the thief. Shortly thereafter, during an altercation with Fett, Sing eliminated Huijari. Following this, Lash disclosed to the two hunters that the stolen statue was, in reality, a fake.

Background

Pursuing a Criminal

Nakano Lash hid on Roxuli.

During the Galactic Republic era, Roxuli was the location of a mining colony. Around 33 BBY, Renzoh Silliac, a member of the Blood Oath Syndicate who managed a salvage yard on Hallitron-7 in the Mid Rim, sought to rescue Nakano Lash, a Nautolan thief facing death due to her involvement in the recent theft of the Hope of Glee Anselm statue from Jaloria. Silliac arranged for the thief, who possessed the statue, to board a commuter shuttle heading to Coruscant, the Republic's capital planet in the Core Worlds, with a scheduled supply stop on Roxuli. Subsequently, the salvage yard owner documented this information in a computer within his office.

Aurra Sing, a bounty hunter previously imprisoned, was being utilized by Huijari, a false Judicial official of the Republic, to locate Jango Fett, a bounty hunter. Sing later accessed the computer data and informed Huijari, suggesting Roxuli as a suitable hiding place. Consequently, Huijari planned a trip to the planet. Simultaneously, Fett, who was pursuing the Hope of Glee Anselm, retreated to his starship, the Slave I, after sustaining injuries in a fight with Vigor Struk at the same salvage yard. Aboard the vessel, he received a message, accompanied by a star map, from Sing instructing him to find her on Roxuli if he survived.

A Visit to the Mining Town

Aurra Sing, accompanied by Huijari, attacks Jango Fett on Roxuli.

During their journey to Roxuli, Sing, who was secretly reviewing a file on Huijari on a datapad, claimed to have discovered potential dangers by examining maps of their destination. Fett eventually arrived as well, landing the Slave I near the Administrative Zone Twelve settlement, controlled by the Mining Guild, and entering the town on foot. He was greeted by a CZ-series secretary/business communications droid representing the Mining Guild and then confronted by a group of Republic [prison](/article/prison] escapees who mistakenly believed Fett was there to capture them. Fett quickly eliminated most of the group and then enlisted an Urodel boy to guide him to a local cantina likely frequented by the thief of the Hope of Glee Anselm.

Inside the cantina, Fett coerced Lash into revealing herself as the thief. He captured her as she attempted to flee. However, Sing and Huijari arrived, and Sing attacked Fett. During the confrontation, Sing exposed Huijari as an imposter and killed him. Subsequently, Lash revealed to the bounty hunters that the supposed Hope of Glee Anselm statue was a forgery, leading Fett and Sing to realize they had been manipulated. The trio then departed the planet.

Population

Administrative Zone Twelve on Roxuli was populated by members of various species, including employees of the Mining Guild.
