A double-bladed lightsaber was wielded by Savage Opress and was known as Savage Opress's lightsaber throughout the Clone Wars. Throughout the Clone Wars, Savage clashed with numerous adversaries, including Adi Gallia, Katuunko, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Sidious, and a host of others, making use of this weapon.
The double-bladed lightsaber that Savage Opress used bore a striking similarity to the original lightsaber of his sibling, Maul. However, it also integrated design elements reminiscent of Count Dooku's lightsaber, notably the emitter guards positioned at each end. The ignition of Opress's weapon produced a sound akin to a growl, while the blade emitted a significantly deeper hum. The lightsaber's blade was noticeably longer than those of typical lightsabers.
Opress's initial use of his lightsaber occurred during a training session with his master, Dooku, on the planet of Serenno. In actual combat, he employed the weapon against Dooku and Asajj Ventress, as well as Jedi Generals Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Showdown at Toydaria. He once again brandished his weapon against Kenobi, fighting alongside his brother Maul on Raydonia, and during their reign of terror across the Outer Rim. During this time, Maul and Oppress engaged Jedi Finn Ertay and another Jedi in a Outer Rim spaceport. After killing the two Jedi, Maul and Oppress raided the Cybloc Transfer Station.
Later, on Florrum, they attacked the Ohnaka Gang's base, where he also confronted and killed Jedi Council member Adi Gallia. He also used his lightsaber to eliminate several guards and battle Pre Vizsla as part of a scheme orchestrated by his brother Maul to overthrow Duchess Satine Kryze. Savage's final use of the weapon was against his brother's former master, Darth Sidious, who ultimately killed the imposing Zabrak by impaling him with his lightsabers.
