Sleeper Agent
An Imperial trooper is secretly a sleeper agent
A Sleeper Agent, alternatively called a sleeper operative, represented a kind of spy who functioned in a covert capacity for extended durations with the purpose of achieving a specific goal. These agents could be either sentient organic beings or droids. Some assignments demanded that an agent remain undercover for periods spanning from several months to multiple years. This necessitated significant commitment, along with the capability to effectively deceive individuals in their vicinity and uphold a fabricated identity by maintaining a network of falsehoods. Sleeper Agents were frequently employed in routine positions unrelated to the target of their assignment. It was uncommon for agents to operate within government or military organizations, due to the intensified scrutiny and comprehensive background investigations associated with those roles. Certain Sleeper Agents were unaware of their actual mission or actions, owing to techniques such as brainwashing or reprogramming.
