The Taffral house, situated on the planet of Saleucami, was a farmhouse that served as the dwelling for the Taffral family. During 4 ABY, a family dinner took place within the farmhouse, attended by the farmer Glen Taffral and his sonsWebb, a loyalist to the Imperial, and Dav, a member of the Rebel Alliance. Before long, the brothers' meal devolved into an argument, prompting their father to step in. Soon after, Dav departed from the house as Imperial forces approached, having been alerted to his presence by Webb.

Description

Located on the Outer Rim planet of Saleucami, the Taffral house was the Taffral family's residence. The farmhouse featured wooden floors, at least one window, and a dining area furnished with a table and chairs. By 4 ABY, the residence had a somewhat aged appearance. Furthermore, the house was situated in close proximity to the family's barn.

History

The Taffral family's farmhouse was located on Saleucami.

During the Imperial Era, the farmer Glen Taffral resided in the house. His sons, Dav and Webb Taffral, chose different paths, joining opposing factions in the Galactic Civil War—the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, respectively. Glen chose to remain on Saleucami, continuing his farming life while mourning the loss of his children's mother. However, by 4 ABY, Webb had been expelled from the Empire's Imperial Academy and had returned to live with his father at their home.

In that year, Glen hosted a family dinner at the house, and Dav came home to dine with his family, having been away working in the nascent New Republic, which had been formed from the Rebel Alliance. The meal was short lived as Dav and Webb soon began arguing over their differing loyalties, with Webb angrily pushing his chair back and attempting to attack his brother across the table. Glen intervened, scolding them for not prioritizing family above all else, especially considering the transient nature of governments. However, the arrival of TIE fighters over the Taffral house prompted Webb to confess that he had reported Dav's location to the Imperials. Glen quickly used a blaster to stun Webb, then instructed Dav on how to escape the house. The father then turned the weapon on himself and fired, intending to tell the Imperial forces that Dav had stunned him before fleeing. Dav then escaped the home, exiting through the back window as the farmhouse door was forced open.
