Tagge Corporation
The entity known as Tagge Corporation, also referred to as TaggeCo, was a business venture owned and managed by the House of Tagge, with its primary operations based within the region of Tagge Space.
Historical Information
A significant portion of the company's resources were allocated to the study of Gungan technologies. During the final decades of the Galactic Republic era, it prominently engaged in the distribution and marketing of food products. During this period, the central strategy planning offices for the company were located on Coruscant. The company also engaged in mining activities and scientific investigations, including weapons development, during the reign of the Galactic Empire.
By 3 ABY, Lady Domina Tagge held the position of head of the company and also presided over the company's Executive Board. Domina was safeguarded by an Honor Guard. Lapin Tagge, her secretary, assisted Domina in her duties. In 3 ABY, the colony situated on the moon of Gortus 4 transferred its rights to the moon to TaggeCo, and Domina promptly instructed Lapin to arrange for TaggeCo's Construction Division to establish an ore processing facility on the moon before the week's end.
A struggle for power arose when Ronen Tagge, Domina's nephew, attempted to seize control of the corporation. Ronen, in collaboration with Crimson Dawn and Sana Starros' crew, initiated a full-scale battle to gain dominion over Tagge Space. However, Sana Starros had secretly agreed with Domina to assist in eliminating Ronen. Ronen's efforts ultimately failed due to his underestimation of Domina's aide, Lapin Tagge. Domina was able to execute her nephew because he had openly admitted to his alliance with Crimson Dawn, and his attack had resulted in the loss of company personnel. Starros declared that her crew's obligations to the Tagge Corporation had been fulfilled and that she was entitled to a new vessel as a result of her assistance.
TaggeCo remained in operation for numerous years after the Empire's defeat. Galacti-Stok, one of its subsidiaries, manufactured Happy-Bore Medicated Dewormer, a dewormer intended to manage and eliminate parasites in happabores.
